I have recently been diagnosed with an advanced stage of thinning bones and also with a high level of rheumatoid arthritis. I had torn my meniscus in my right knee in December 2007 and had surgery on it in February 2008 and it continued to be painful and give me problems, swelling etc.  I went to physical therapy and it helped but it didn't eliminate the pain. I had also dislocated my left knee 3-4 times as I was favoring it because of my right knee problems so had considerable pain in it as well. When I meditate on the Metatrons Mat, it puts me into a very deep state of relaxation.
